Insurance Brokerage is a part of Robert Brooks’s family legacy. Prior to becoming a broker himself, Robert grew up watching his father, a Corporate Risk Manager and his sister, an Insurance Broker, each with careers spanning 4 decades. Because of this, Robert never saw himself working in Insurance as a youth.
When he found his early career in the financial industry at a crossroads, he went to a headhunter who pointed him in the direction that would fulfill his family legacy – he became a customer service representative at an insurance company.
33 years later, Robert has worked in customer service and commercial and biotech underwriting, ultimately finding his home in Wholesale Brokerage. Wholesale provides him the opportunity to get creative, solving new coverage requests daily and exploring new lines of business.
He thrives on challenging himself, utilizing his business relationships and drawing on his previous underwriting experience to anticipate the needs of his clients and deliver a well- rounded solution for his agents.
In his spare time Robert can be found traveling, enjoying his family cabin in the mountains with his wife and kids and cheering on his beloved L.A. Angels and Rams.
