Patrick Flores spent his early career working as a musician, taking temp jobs to make ends meet when he wasn’t on tour. One of those temp jobs would ultimately lead him to an 18-year career as an M.J. Hall Broker.
Drawn to the insurance industry initially by the structure of the work, he soon discovered he had a natural aptitude for solving problems, assigning coverages and helping people. After 2 years as a Broker’s Assistant, Patrick jumped in and became a full-fledged Broker.
His work as a musician has had a unique influence on his career in Wholesale Brokerage – with the needs of his agents changing every day, he is continually channeling his creative side to solve problems in new and inventive ways, while his artistic mentality allows him to empathize with the challenges retail agents face.
Additionally, his time as a touring bass player has enabled him to thrive in building his customer relationships – keeping your audience happy and engaged is paramount to any performer. When he’s not in the office, Patrick likes to keep active through yoga, kayaking, paddle boarding and rafting.
