Marian Lockhart-Cox knows how to build (and rebuild) a successful book of business. With a career in insurance that has spanned over two decades, she has relied on her relationship management skills to help her jumpstart her business in any new venture.

She joined M.J. Hall in 2010, with the responsibility of opening the Fresno office. She believes to be successful in wholesale, Brokers are required to be generalists in their knowledge of risk coverages, however she has also taken opportunities to deepen her knowledge of the Transportation and Garage markets since joining M.J. Hall.

She also believes in strong interpersonal communication, opting for phone calls and in-person meetings as an added personal touch that goes a long way toward building relationships with agents and carriers alike. She prides herself on fast turnaround time, typically responding same-day, and pushing for solutions with urgency for her agents.

When she is not working (which she says is rare these days!) she enjoys traveling, hiking and socializing with her friends.
